Adoptable Pets

The dogs in our program are altered before being placed. They are microchipped, vaccinated and come with an additional four weeks of integration training after adoption. The adoption fee for our animals is $205 for dogs over 6-months of age and $235 for puppies 6-months or younger; cats are a flat fee of $75 regardless of age. This is to cover medical care, food and housing while we have the animal, as well as the training that sets our organization apart.

Luna is a 1.5 year old boxer/lab mix that came from a municipal shelter where her time was up. Luna has separation anxiety, but when crated appropriately when left she does fine. She was found as a stray and was skin and bones, however has filled out nicely in foster care and gets along well with all the other dogs, cats and critters. She is very playful and while takes a bit to warm up, is a real sweetheart of a dog. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and ready for a forever family to love. Katie is a beautiful black and brown 10 1/2 year old spayed shepherd mix. She has been raised around children but being slightly older would prefer ones that aren't trying to ride on her. She is housebroken and stays in a fenced yard, however really wants to be an inside companion. Katie is having to find a new home because of the economic crisis has changed the living situation of her people. Jane is a 3 year old purebred German shepherd. She has darker fur and is a beautiful dog who is looking for a family to be her forever. She is housetrained, crate trained, and does well with other dogs and people. Smokey is a 4 year old schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle mix) as far as we can tell. He is an owner relinquishment because his mommy is losing her home, and is unable to take him with her. He has been through our obedience program already, so any new training would be as a refresher or if you had any specific goals in mind for him. Zack is a four year old shepherd mix that came to us as a transfer from an overcrowded shelter. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, loves other dogs and really really really wants to be around people. Dalton is a two year old purebred German shepherd. He is an owner relinquishment and recently had surgery on his elbows to correct some stiffness, but is doing great. He is a very sweet dog that gets along with other dogs and just about everybody. He is crate trained, house trained, up-to-date on vaccinations and neutered. Friday is a two and a half year old purebred German shepherd that was pulled from a municipal shelter where her time was about up. She is a very sweet dog who is wanting to please, and so far has been picking up training like a sponge. We are still evaluating her; however, at this time it appears she is kennel trained and possibly housetrained. She does well around other dogs and is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and looking for a home where she can be someone's forever furry baby. Jorey is a seven month old blue heeler/sherpherd mix that was pulled from death row out of state. He is a very rambunctious fellow who is all puppy kisses. We are working on house training, but he is kennel trained and picking up on general obedience. Olive is a 9 week old kitten that came in as a feral. She has completely turned the corner, and now comes out for lots and lots of petting, purring up a storm. She's still a little intimidated by men and their deep voices, but with patience she warms up to just about everyone. She is vaccinated, dewormed, uses the litter box like a champ, and would love a home with another cat to play with and cuddle with as she really does great with other cats. She is fine around respectful dogs, and isn't bad when getting her nails clipped. Olive might take a little while to warm to new people, but when she does she is absolutely the cutest love bug around, and we are really hoping someone will see this profile and realize what an AMAZING cat lies underneath her initial reservation. We think once she gets into a more stable home environment she will open up even more and be someone's BEST CAT EVER. Keith is a solid black 4 year old domestic short hair cat that is up for adoption because his owner lost her house in the current economic climate. He is good around other cats and polite dogs. Keith is up-to-date on vaccinations, is neutered, and really has a stunning personality. He does not claw furniture, uses the litter box with no issues, and really is only available becuase of some hard luck. He really deserves a forever home and not more time spent in a cage. Sophie came to us as an owner relinquishment and VERY pregnant at the time. She delivered three kittens on Easter Sunday - and will be ready to adopt come June 7th when her babies are also ready to go. Sophie will be spayed, brought up-to-date on vaccinations, and otherwise be fully ready to spend her life as someone's adored indoor kitty-cat. Charlie is one of several cats that came to us from an overcrowded situation and were facing euthanasia. She is a very pretty domestic long hair mix. The hair tufts she has makes her quite whimsical looking. All the cats have been vet checked and are FeLV and FIV negative and are healthy. They are all between 2 to 4 years old, like other cats and enjoy humans. Charlie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and really wanting to charm the pants off of a new family. Rendy is an 11 year old grey domestic short hair. She lived with her original owner in an assisted living facility, but when her mommy died no one wanted to step up and help her. Rendy is a very social and loving cat, however after years of living in a more quiet and reserved setting, she would prefer a new home somewhat like the first. She would prefer to be the only animal in the house - so while a retired or single adult would be ideal, Rendy isn't too picky. She just had a complete vetting and came back in health better than cats half her age. Won't you please consider this sweet girl as she looks for a retirement of her own? Norton is a one year old Newfoundland/golden retriever mix that got the best of both breeds. He is a bit smaller than a regular Newfie, but more calm than a regular golden. This sweet natured guy came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Texas where his time was up. He is picking up training like a sponge, and really wants to be someone's best buddy ever. Ginger is a 12 week old puppy that came from an overcrowded shelter. This little girl LOVES to give hugs, and our best guess is that she is a shepherd mix of some sort, but seems like she will stay small as an adult. She is all puppy kisses and loves people and dogs of all shapes and sizes (not even phased by a 145 pound Great Dane) so we think this little lover could fit in any household. We are working on crate training and house training, but she is eager to please and is trying hard to be a good girl. Lui is a 10 month old, striking Russian blue. She was semi-feral and now has become an awesome house kitty. She is an absolute lovebug. One little brush of your hand and she starts to purr. She is extremely laid back and gets along with all cats, which means she really needs to go to a home with another cat as she needs the company another cat provides. Shadow is a six month old flat coated retreiver mix. He is going to be a smaller guy in the 40 pound range and is an absolute doll of a dog. He does well around kids of all ages (six months to 12 years he's been living with lately) and really really wants to please. He needs some exposure to new dogs as sometimes he acts a bit timid, but so far we think he'd do great in just about any situation. He is crate trained and nearly house trained, and with the smallest amount of effort would have general obedience nailed. She currently needs a little time with one of our trainers to get over some of her fears and anxieties that came from that abuse, but will be ready for a home once she does. Isis is a four year old purebred min-pin with cropped ears. She needs to lose a little weight, but is quite the little lady. She likes other dogs, people, and really has a sweet temperment. She does okay with dogs that are her size or bigger; however, smaller dogs are not a good fit for her.
